Start Building Your Anthropology Resume/CV 

Alright, so you鈥檙e ready to get some experiences in anthropology. So, then what is available? We鈥檝e compiled a basic checklist to get you started. This list is by no means is exhaustive; there are only so many opportunities that we could only fit on a page!

This checklist covers the major areas of experience that will build your transferable skills and fill up a resume or curriculum vitae (CV).

Need help formatting your resume? The only answer is YES. Check out these resources for formatting the document, translating your experiences into 鈥渘on-anthro鈥 language, and modifying your resume or CV for a particular application:

  1. Anthropology Resume Binder: located in the front office (SO 4042) of the Department of Geography and Anthropology. This binder provides tons of examples of edited resumes from faculty and prior 成人直播 anthropology students so that you can see exactly how your experiences can be formatted.
  2. 成人直播鈥檚 Department of Career Building and Development鈥 visit their website to find templates and guides for building a resume, cover letter, and job application specific to the skills you get in our college.
  3. Get that resume/CV edited: reach out to an anthropology professor to have them edit your resume or CV, then, contact The Department of Career Planning and Development to help you refine it for the specific job you have in mind.
