  • My favorite memory is my cousin's wedding at the beginning of the Fall 2024 semester. I needed to get a lot done to properly enjoy the wedding, which was also a middle point of the program. I remember thinking about how constantly busy I was, but I was at the middle point, and I had nothing but love and support from family and friends. I knew I would finish this program.
  • Yes, I am looking to further my professional development by completing some additional certificates to make myself more competitive. I would love to get my Doctorate, but I will wait a few years before really proceeding with a further degree.
  • Absolutely. I want to sincerely thank my supervisor, Dr. Ruth Goldfine. From the very beginning of my journey in the FinTech program, she showed unwavering support and understanding. Balancing graduate studies with a full-time role wasn't easy, but Dr. Goldfine's encouragement and advice made it possible for me to succeed both academically and professionally.

  • Honestly, there isn鈥檛 one specific memory that stands out, because every day was a great experience. I genuinely enjoyed working with the incredible staff in our department. It was always a positive, welcoming environment, and that made each day special in its own way.
  • After graduation, I plan to return to my parents' home and work for about a year. My ultimate goal is to pursue graduate school, as my passion lies in speech therapy. I鈥檓 excited to take the next steps toward making a meaningful impact in that field.
  • Absolutely! There are a few amazing people I鈥檇 like to shout out. First, Francisco Ruiz 鈥 not only a coworker, but also the best big brother figure anyone could ask for. Clara Ginn 鈥 my boss, and truly the best one I could鈥檝e had. Maureen Wilson 鈥 my mentor, a constant source of advice, support, and encouragement. I also want to shout out all the student assistants who worked in the Dean鈥檚 Office 鈥 we've built such a close bond over time. And finally, my best friend, Janasia Bracy, who has been by my side through everything. I鈥檓 so thankful for her unwavering support.

  • My favorite memories from my time as an office assistant were the times I got to work with [and] help professors I have taken classes from.
  • I plan to attend Florida State University and earn my master鈥檚 degree in history.
  • I would like to recognize Kayla Jones, Brianna Bonds, and Kelsey Mrkvicka-Olovson for all they do for the history and philosophy department!

Student Assistant for the Office of the Dean

  • My favorite memory as a student assistant for the 鈥淥ffice of the Dean鈥 would be helping at work events that would take place throughout campus. For instance, when all of the different departments and organizations were reaching out to students on the campus green. Furthermore, last semester, I was able to provide grad pins and graduate bags to the students who graduated within the Norman J. Radow Humanities and Social Sciences department鈥檚 majors. Lastly, my favorite memory would be me receiving the 鈥淎bove the Call for Student Assistants鈥 award, and my family being there, congratulating me along with my supervisors and coworkers as well.
  • After my graduation, I plan to enroll in the Integrated Global Communication Master鈥檚 program in the fall of 2025. I also plan to expand my corporate and athletic communication work experience even more.
  • I would like to shout out to Ms. Vickie and Professor Payne! They have truly motivated and inspired me to become better, especially after graduation. They always get me to network and become more confident. Furthermore, I truly appreciate them for their generosity!

  • We recently had a retirement party for some of our professors in the department. Many kind words were said, and it was set up beautifully to commemorate their excellent service and legacies! I also got to partake in the festivities while assisting with different tasks.
  • I have been applying to a plethora of jobs and the current plan is to just build up more professional work experience and use that to get my foot in the door of some tech or office career.
  • Dr. Dylan Goldblatt (now works with the Office of Research, but formerly a senior lecturer of German), was a great resource to me. He gave me an internship opportunity and much needed insight to the professional world while making me feel involved and welcome despite my status as a student.

Associate Director of Budget and Business Operations, Office of Fiscal Services (Formerly RCHSS Office of the Dean Senior Business Operations Manager)

  • My favorite memory is from the Strategic Marketing course taught by Dr. Armen Tashchian鈥攁ffectionately known as Dr. T. His sharp wit and unique sense of humor brought the material to life and made each class session fly by. It wasn鈥檛 just about learning strategy鈥攊t was the way he made complex concepts accessible and entertaining. His energy and personality turned what could鈥檝e been a routine course into one of the most engaging and memorable parts of my MBA experience.
  • Not right now鈥擨 need a break. I鈥檝e considered pursuing a Ph.D. or Ed.D. down the line, but at this point, I want to focus on my family and enjoy some balance after completing this degree. That said, I鈥檓 always open to growth, so when the time feels right, I鈥檒l revisit that goal.
  • The list is way too long to name just one person. I鈥檓 incredibly grateful to my team, my current and former supervisors, and all the friends I鈥檝e made both on and off campus. Their encouragement, support, and presence made this journey not only possible, but genuinely meaningful.

  • I plan to move downtown and start a career in Human Resources!
  • Briana Bonds, who was the Office Manager and now works in Archaeology, she was super nice and understanding! Kayla Jones, who is now the History Office Manager, became a really good friend of mine. And of course, all the teachers in the department who were there for me!
